Retouching and Airbrushing

One of the most important aspects of Photography for us is the editing. Playing around with the colors as well as air brushing can make a difference between a good Photo and a "Great" Photo.

All of our photos are always retouched and air brushed. Our job doesn't end after your Photo shoot. We keep getting inspired to make you picture perfect. By analyzing the picture and your face, we will adjust your make-up to the very colors that surround you. This is to insure the perfect Red Apple Photo. No picture is complete without editing and final touches.

Un des aspects le plus importants de Photographie pour nous sommes des éditer. Jouer avec les couleurs de même qu'a retouche de maquillage peut faire une différence entre une bonne Photo et une Excellente Photo.

Toutes nos photos son toujours retouchées et airbrushed. Notre travail ne termine pas après que votre fin de session de Photo. Nous continuons d'etre inspirés pour faire les retouche pour que la photo soit perfectionner. En analysant l'image et votre visage, nous ajusterons votre maquillage et aux couleurs même qui vous entoure. Ceci est d'assurer la Photo de Pomme Rouge est parfaite. Aucune image est complète sans éditer et les touches finales.

Julius and Aella's Engagement Session

Julius and Aella's engagement shoot started early in the morning at Quebec's famous Ice hotel. Their story started with endless jokes from Julius and Aella's positive attitude that seemed to make everything flow. They had so much energy that it made our jobs so simple. From pillow fights to the kids pushing them... sorry forcing them down the ice slide, and knocking them down. this day was memorable. After everyone was soaked from the snow,cold and from the igloos, everyone had flush cheeks and happy smiles. This yoga instructor and young communications academic were great and very high spirited. Alella decided to go wild with yoga poses and definitely made an impression. It really was a beautiful winter day and no trip to Quebec is quite complete until you get some freshly poured taffy on white snow.These two made sure of that! We went ahead and posted some of the in-between session shots and some favorites.

La session d’engagement de Julius et Aella a commence tôt en matinée à l’impressionnant Hotel de Glace à Québec. Leur histoire commença avec l’humour de Julius et l’attitude très positive d’Aella qui les mena au grand amour. Ils ont eu tellement de plaisirs que notre travail n’en a été que plus facile ! De la bataille d’oreiller et jusqu’aux enfants qui les poussaient…désolé de les avoir forcés à glisser dans la fameuse glissoire de glace ! Cette journée a été mémorable. Après avoir été mouillés par la neige, gelés par le froid, nous avions tous les joues rouge et le sourire jusqu’aux oreilles. Aella, jeune professeur de Yoga et Julius, étudiant en communication étaient fantastiques. Aella a même décidé de faire des poses de Yoga et ce qui nous a impressionnés. C’était une journée d’hiver fantastique dans la belle ville de Québec, mais aucun voyage sous la neige n’est complet sans la fameuse tire sur glace ! Nous avons mit quelques de ces photos que nous aimons spécialement.

Crazy ideas go around when we put our heads together, but in the end it is all for you. When you have a child come in dancing around in her angle wings, blowing bubbles it's quite a site for the parents and fun time for the child. We try not to limit ourselves with ideas. We get inspired from the start so that your pictures can be as close to reality and true to your personality as possible. This is why we enjoy requests from our clients. We research and see if we can recreate or create exactly what you want. Even our models who have special request get to have their own theme because we put 110% in everything we do. After all, their portfolio should be diverse to show their versatility.

Des idées folles nous surviennent lorsque nous nous faisons un ‘’brainstorming’’ et c’est le cas de le dire ! Mais à la fin de tout ça, c’est avec vos idées que le tout se créer. Lorsque vous avez un enfant qui danse avec des petites ailes de papillon et fait des bulles avec son petit bâtonnet, c’est un moment plaisant pour les parents et l’enfant qui s’amuse. Nous ne nous limitons pas avec les idées, nous nous inspirons du moment, de l’instant pour que les photos se rapprochent le plus de la réalité, dans un décor enfantin et qui s’harmonise avec l’enfant en question. Nous recherchons et essayons de faire exactement ce que vous désirez. Même nos models qui ont des demandes spécial ressortent satisfaits, car nous consacrons notre 110% à chaque personne. Après tout, leur porte-folio se doivent d’être diversifiés afin de montrer leurs différents atouts.

Props and designs just for you

Sometimes We ask ourselves, what where we thinking attempting this? Here at red Apple, we like to believe that we are all artists at heart. Unfortunately this lets us get carried away when attempting to create our own props. sometimes it works out sometimes we fail miserably. It's always exciting to find new objects that will help set the theme or mood for the perfect pictures but there is so much more to the surrounding than most people realize. One of the settings we were preparing was a dinner table for a thanks giving shoot. well who's baking the turkey? Should we order pounds of fruit to place in a horn or oversize suspenders for the whole family? Our best failed attempt was a cake. I guess there are no bakers at Red apple ...yet

Quelques fois, nous nous demandons bien ce qui a pu nous passer par la tête et essayer de telles choses ! Chez La Pommes Rouge, nous aimons penser que nous sommes tous des artistes à même le cœur. Malheureusement, certaine fois nous nous emportons en essayant de créer nos propres accessoires de studio. Certaine fois c’est une réussite, mais nous avons aussi échouée misérablement! C’est toujours excitant de chercher des objets qui rendent nos projets plus réels, mais les options sont tellement grandes, que les idées se perdent. Un de nos photoshoot était de recréer un souper de Thanks Givings. Alors ? Qui cuit la dinde ? Notre meilleur échec a été notre gateau en pâte à modeler. Il faut croire qu’il n’y a pas encore de pâtissier chez La Pomme Rouge …. Encore.

Phillipe-Olivier and Valerie's proposal

Valerie And Phillipe -Oliver(P.O) are quite the pair. At first they were reserved yet they still had such a charm and their chemistry was so intriguing . When I first met them, my immediate impression was tradition meets the 21st century. Once they were relaxed, Valerie's witty remarks started to flow and they were laughing before you know it. P.O was such a gentleman and valerie the perfect lady.They showed us some of their favorite spots and had a reenactment of their proposal day. The beauty of old Montreal and the beautiful architecture of this city is hard to ignore. right in front of those two giant doors on -----st, he got down on one knee To ask the women he loves to marry him. that changed everything. The mood got more intimate and then the camera was able to flow. We were lucky because he originally proposed with a different ring until he could get a hold of his grandmother's engagement ring that was a family heirloom. This was the first time Valerie saw her one true ring that she will have forever. Red apple photography was honored to take part on this authentic moment and looks forward to their upcoming wedding in April 2010.

Mom and Dad compete?

Nothing can quite top a mother's love. Mothers are there to take care of you when your sick, clean you when your dirty and tell you how important you are. We depend on our mothers so much that sometimes we forget to mention the role of a father. So lets not forget about the dad's out there either. A father's role can not be forgotten. Dad's dust you off and pick you up when you fall down, take you to ballet and soccer practice and picks you up from school no matter how late. It is always touching to see the love of family and the happiness of expecting couples.

Go with the flow

If you got kids coming for a shoot be prepared to have as much toiletries as possible. These little guys run around and need assistance. Nothing is worst then a kid scraping his knee and you fail to have a first aid kit, or even worst no toilet paper. Stack up because your going to need it. Comfortably plays a big role and we sure don't want you rushing to get home.
